SOUTHPORT MASTERS
4-H Shooting Sports
Completes Its Second Year at Southport
Fifteen boys and girls, ages 11 to 17, participated in the program for the second year at Southport. Their scrapbooks from the event, including posters on gun safety, types of firearms, ammunition, etc., were displayed at the KenoshaCounty Fair.
Using precision air rifles, the 4-H program consists of prone, kneeling, sitting and standing exercises. Air gun events are generally fired at the 10-meter range.
New participants are welcome. Sign up is in September with the 4-H Extension office at the
Kenosha County Center.
Southport Masters wishes these
young shooters well and
enthusiastically invites them back.
